A pile of stones marks the summit
Yarlside is a hill in the Howgill Fells. Set in stunning surroundings, Yarlside has some of the best qualities you would expect of the area, tends to get a little bit overlooked.

This is perhaps down to the fact that they are a bit out on a limb and slightly disjointed in terms of ridge walking.

This fell is not to be confused with the Yarlside area near Barrow-in-Furness, once served by the Yarlside Iron Mines tramway.
