Spanning from the Irish Sea coast to the rugged heartland of North Wales, Snowdonia National Park (Eryri) is a landscape defined by dramatic geological diversity, ancient slate heritage, and vast mountain massifs. From the wild, high plateau of the Carneddau in the north to the jagged volcanic rock of the Glyderau and Tryfan above Cwm Idwal, each range possesses its own distinct personality and atmosphere.
Further south, the iconic central peaks of the Snowdon Massif (Yr Wyddfa) give way to the quieter, heath-covered ridges of Moel Siabod, the granite wilderness of the Rhinogydd, and the majestic glacial amphitheatre of Cader Idris.
