Welcome to All The Gear, No Idea—my little corner of cyberspace.

This site is a record of hikes and scrambles across the UK and Australia. I’m on a mission to climb all the English and Welsh Nuttalls—the hills over 609 m (2,000 ft).

I finished the Wainwrights in 2016, and you’ll find those listed here along with hikes hosted on Mud and Routes.

Currently living in Australia, you’ll notice a bit of Aussie bias creeping in over the next few years—but that’s all part of the adventure.

Thanks for stopping by—grab your boots and explore!
