Positioned along the connecting ridge running north-west from Haycock towards Caw Fell, Little Gowder Crag forms a prominent rocky hump on the high ground. Its northern rock face drops away abruptly, appearing as a distinct knuckle when viewed from the Ennerdale valley side.
The view to Seatallan
Classified as a Nuttall with 15 metres of prominence, the summit high point is marked by a bare outcrop of rock crossed directly by the Ennerdale Fence. The elevated vantage point provides clear views south-west across the fellside towards Seatallan and the distant West Cumbrian coast.
