A small cairn marks the top
Simon Fell is subsidiary summit of Ingleborough, much like Plover Hill is to Pen-Y-Ghent. Despite this, it is both high enough and prominent enough to be classed as a Nuttall.

While the summit lacks interest but the walk along the northern escarpment is very enjoyable, the views from Lord's Seat is especially good.
